Fried Plantains - Platanos Fritos one of my favorite ways to cook plantains squeezed some honey over top and sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy a tasty treat

Ingredients
- 2 ripe plantains
- 1 tbs of coconut oil
- 1 tbs of honey
- cinnamon
Instructions
- Peal Plantain
- Slice plantain making the slices a bit diagonally
- Heal coconut oil over medium heat and place plantains
- Turn plantain slices over after 2-3 min until golden brown and cook the other side until golden brown
- Place in a platter pour over honey and sprinkle with cinnamon
Notes
You can use any other cooking oil. I prefer coconut oil because it has a higher smoke point.
Traditionally we serve plantains sprinkle with sugar and fresh crema. You can use plain yogurt for a healthier alternative.
