Quinoa a nutrient packed seed. The name Quinoa is derived from the Spanish spelling of the Quechua name kinwa. Quinoa was originated in South America particularly in Peru, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Bolivia.

1 cup quinoa to 2 cups of water or broth  bring to boil and simmer for 10 minutes.  let it stand for another 10 minutes and serve as a side dish with fish or poultry.  Topped it up with fresh fruit and yogurt and have it as breakfast or dessert.
